    The Council for World Mission (CWM) is a worldwide community of mainly protestant Christian churches. The 32 members share their resources of money, people, skills and insights to carry out their mission work. CWM was established in in its present form. The Council for Mission Archives – SOAS Library Housed at SOAS Library, University of London, sincethe archives of the Council for World Mission are a unique historical resource for the study of the global spread of the Christian faith over the last years, used by academic researchers, family historians, churches and communities from around the world.

The Archives of the Council for World Mission (incorporating the archives of the London Missionary Society) are among the oldest archives archives of the Council for World Mission book missionary work, with files of correspondence and travel reports dating back to the eighteenth century.

SOAS, University of London, also holds the Council for World Mission Library of c, books and pamphlets, and papers of the Presbyterian Church of England Foreign Missions Committee (Ref: PCE) and Women's Missionary Association (Ref: PCE/WMA).

A separate catalogue for the Presbyterian material is available.
